Pasadena Rotary, President Elect, Diana Peterson-More is going to the 2012 Rotary International Convention in Bangkok, Thailand. A number of local Rotarians have expressed interest in forming a traveling group to this unique area of the world. Our Pasadena traveling party currently number 12 and we want to include anyone else who wants to go. Diana is reaching out to adjacent clubs so that we can share the fun of exploring the world together.

The 2012 Floriade & France Horticulture Study Tour will be led by John Karlik, Ph.D., of the University of California Cooperative Extension. This is our sixth horticultural tour since 2005.  The overall objective for the tour is to broaden participants' knowledge and appreciation for landscape design and plant selection.  The tours also provide opportunities to learn about managing green space, water conservation, and other issues we face in California. If you are new to the Horticulture Study Tour program, a great educational and enjoyable experience awaits you.
