Londonderry Rose Parade 2011 - Followers Trip

The Londonderry Friends of Music Followers will be traveling to Pasadena California this December to support the Londonderry High School Marching Lancers and Color Guard in their fourth trip to the world-famous Pasadena Tournament of Roses!

The 122nd Rose Parade will take place on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 8 a.m. (PST) featuring spirited marching bands from throughout the nation, majestic floral floats and high-stepping equestrian units.

The Rose Parade will be broadcast on ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, KTLA (Tribune), NBC, RFD-TV, Travel Channel and Univision. The Parade is also seen in more than 200 international territories and countries -- a viewing audience of millions. The 5.5-mile parade route hosts approximately 1,000,000 people from Southern California and beyond.

Londonderry Friends of Music has teamed with its Pasadena-based friends, Travel Gallery, Inc., to offer an escorted tour package with options for a four- or five-night stay. Through a special arrangement with the official grandstand seating company for the Tournament of Roses -- the Londonderry Friends of Music Followers will view the parade from the prime vantage point of "television corner," enjoying the spectacle of bands, floats and equestrians right after they make their famous turn onto Colorado Boulevard.

The Londonderry Followers Official Tour will allow you to mirror much of the Band’s activities or create a program with a length that fits your personal schedule and budget. The tour activities and social events can be included or excluded.
