The Ultrapadum Festival was born in 1993 as the first example of setting for concert events in the villas and castles of the Oltrepò Pavese, just 40 minutes south of Milan. The pioneers of the initiative are two local Music Associations of Voghera and Rivanazzano, for a first mini review of four concerts. The formula immediately appeals to the public and to the institutions that, over the years, have asked to join. The plurality of values put into play by the Festival: tourism, historical-cultural, food and wine represents the key to success and an aggregation tool for the thousands of participants in the summer concerts, which are the real engine of the event.
